EV's
The research line on electric vehicles (EV's) is an emerging area at CINVESTAV. It began with an industrial project with a Mexican company (MODUTRAM) in 2010, participating in the speed profile control system of an electric transport unit. Currently, the research line is being developed in Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques for EVs.
The laboratory has some systems such as:.
a) A full-scale electric vehicle, for navigation trajectory planning purposes in environments with uncertainties.
b) 3D motion system for testing human reactions to unconventional acceleration situations, jerk.
c) Scale EVs for real-time navigation testing.
